Kanchenjunga (8598m) is the world’s third highest mountain. Jannu (Kumbhakarna), Chhang Himal and many more snowy peaks recite here. We will encounter the Limbu and Rai inhabitants. Uvauli and Udhauli are their main festivals. These festivals in October and May are celebrations of harvesting the crops and sowing of the crops from the fields and bringing to their homes respectively. The Brahim and Chettri celebrate festivals like Tihar, Dashain, teej, Janaipurna and many others following Hindu religion. However, cultures and traditions insight can be witnessed only in mean time. Ghurkhas are recruited from this area.
Blue Sheep, musk deer, and the snow leopard are abundance wildlife of this area. There are also many Yaks in this area. This package has picturesque farmland, green alpine valleys, and rhododendron and bamboo forests. We skirt the incredible northern flank of Jannu (7710m), Pang Bema (5140m), and the base camp. We enjoy the breath-taking view of the formidable north face of Kanchenjunga.
