Day 01 Arrive in kathmandu,alt.1300m

Our representative team will pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel.Upon arrival,you can take a short rest.Later,you’ll meet your guide and have a briefing about the itinerary and a discussion about the trek.

02

Day 02 Drive to Sundarijal then trek to Chisapani,(alt.2300m)

After having the breakfast we will drive an hour to Sundarijal .It is the starting point of the trek where we trek along hydroelectric plant and then starts to kick off to the Chisapani which would take roughly 4-5 hrs.

Our trail continues through the scenic Shivapuri National park .Upon hiking up a hill to an altitude of approximately 1895m,which is over 600m above sundarijal,we’ll arrive at Mulkhara,a village inhabited by tamang people in Mulkhara we will take some rest,savoring tea and snacks.

After a brief break,we will resume our hike,going through dense woods filled with rhododendron and oak trees until we reach Chisapani.

Day 03 Trek to Kutumsang,alt.2470m

After enjoying our morning breakfast,we will embark on our journey towards kutumsang,our destination for the day.The hike begins with gradual ascents through meadows and fields ,offering views of many tang settlements and the breathtaking Langtang Mountains.

Continuing our walk ,we will reach Pathi Bhanjyang and Gul Bhanjyang,where the trail ascends the hills.From Gul Bhanjyang ,we ascend to another pass before making a descent ,eventually reaching Kutumsang for the night.

Day 04 Trek to Thadepati,(alt.3490m)

Today ,we will head north to enjoy the breathtaking views of snowy peaks ahead.We will ascend a steep trail through fir and rhododendron forests,where no settlements are present.

The trek continues to Yurin Danda-where you will enjoy magnificent views of the himalayas.After that ,we will stop at Magen Goth,where few lodges are found .Following this, we will ascend to a mountaintop that offers a pristine views of enticing peaks and massifs.finally after some hike we will reach today’s destination i.e. Tharepati

Day 05 Trek to Tarke Ghyang,(alt.2621m)

After having our breakfast ,we descend from the ridge through the dense forest,terraced fields and small sherpa settlements you can also visit old and artistic Gompas nearby.While exploring the local settlements ,interacting with the people and getting the insights of Sherpa and tamang culture you will eventually reach to Tarke Ghyang

Day 06 Trek back to Thimbu and drive to Kathmandu,(alt.1300m)

Today is the last day of your trek ,for today we will trek back to Thimphu and take a scenic drive to Kathmandu.On the way,you can visit the historical Changu Narayan temple.If you wish to extend your stay,you have the option to de so,otherwise our team member will drop you off at the airport for your journey back to your native country.

Best season to Trekking in Helembu

Helambu trek is accessible throughout the whole year,,but the decision to trek often depends on the weather conditions.Speaking of weather ,the optimal seasons for the Helambu Valley trek are spring and autumn.

Spring season starts from March to May and this season is considered to be the best season for Helambu Valley trek . For day time temperatures it rises from 10-20 degree whereas at night it’s from -5 degree to 5 degree. During spring season,the region comes alive with vibrant blooms,particularly the blossoming of various flowers,including the iconic rhododendron ,along the trails.The trek offers a refreshing experience as the air is mixed in the fragrance of these blossoms,creating a lighter and more tranquil atmosphere that smoothes the heart.
