Itinerary

01

Day 01 Drive from Pokhara to Jhinu Danda (alt.1700m,3 hrs),then trek to lower Sinwa (alt.2100m ,3 hrs)

After having our breakfast we will start our journey with a drive from Pokhara to Jhinu Danda which covers approximately 38 kilometers and takes around 2 to 3 hrs depending upon the road condition and traffic. Once we reach to Pokhara we will start our official trek to Jhinu Danda , known for its natural hot spring.

The trek from Jhinu Danda to Lower Sinuwa takes approximately 2 to 3 hrs. You’ll cross the Modi Khola River through the suspension bridge and after crossing small villages and taking a break for a while we will reach our destination which is Lower Sinuwa (2,100m).

Day 02 Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali(alt.3300m),6-7 hrs

Today’s trek from Lower Sinuwa to Deurali (3,300m) is a day filled with different terrain, natural beauty, and gradual ascent. The route offers numerous scenic views. As you continue on the trek you’ll pass through dense bamboo forest.

As the trail continues to ascend through more open landscapes. The path becomes rockier as you gain elevation with some narrow sections and steep areas.

Day 03 Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (alt.4130m),4-5 hrs

The trek for today begins from Deurali towards Annapurna Base Camp.As we leave Deurali,the trail ascends gently through open landscapes.The routes becomes rockier as we gain altitude with some narrow section.Along the way you’ll pass Hinku Cave,a rock overhang often used a resting point by trekkers.After the hallway through the trek we will reach Machapuchare base camp(3,700m).Here you can take some rest and enjoy the stunning view of Machapuchare mountain.

From Machapuchare Base Camp ,the trail becomes more steeper and rockier as we head towards Annapurna Base Camp. Once we reach to Annapurna Base Camp we will be treated with magnificent views of surrounding peaks including Annapurna South,Hiunchuli, Gangapurna and Machapuchare.

Day 04 Explore the sunrise/sunset view from Annapurna Base Camp (alt.4130mback to Bamboo(alt.2100m) 6-7 hrs) and

For today we will wake up early in the morning to witness the sunrise at Annapurna Base Camp(4,130m). As the sunrises the surrounding snow-capped peaks of Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre(Fishtail) will be bathed in golden light creating breathtaking views. It’s the highlight of the trek.

Take your time to enjoy the view and then prepare to return back at ABC for breakfast and prepare for the day’s trek back to Bamboo. The trail follows the same route you took up to ABC, as you descend, you’ll pass through a lush forest of rhododendrons and bamboo with a spectacular view of the Modi Khola River. You will reach Bamboo, located at 2100m where you will spend the night.

Day 05 Trek back to Jhinu Danda(hot spring)alt.1700m,5-6 hrs

We will begin the trek from bamboo(2,100m) to Jhinu Danda. The trail is a combination of ascents and descents offering various terrain and lush natural beauty. We’ll pass through the forest, along the river, and by various charming villages. The trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda takes around 5-6 hrs, depending on your pace and the time you take to spend your break. Once you arrive in Jhinu Danda(1,700m) you can rest in the teahouse.

Day 06 Drive back to Pokhara(alt.740m),3 hrs

On this day you will drive from Jhinu Danda to Pokhara. We will typically travel back to Pokhara by private vehicle. We will have 3 hrs of scenic drive and it also depends upon the road conditions and traffic. The drive offers picturesque views of the surrounding, lush hills, terraced fields, and a small village.

In just a week, you will cover a short distance of just 74.2 km when you will journey from the terraced farmlands, that progressively change to the high deep, and rich jungles of rhododendrons and conifers.
