Annapurna circuit trek with Tilicho Lake  is one of the most popular destinations for trekking enthusiasts. The circuit is the world’s biggest pass Thorong -la (alt. 5416m) , and has been covered by the international magazine as top 50 with height thorong- la pass Alt 5416m. It’s a deep glacier-covered amphitheater surrounded by a ring of impressive and scenic high peaks such as the Annapurna I (8091m, 26545 ft), Ganagapurna (7455m, 24457ft), Annapurna II ( 7937m 26985ft.) Day 02 Drive from Kathmandu to Dharapani through Besisahar (alt.1860m),8-9 hrs

After having breakfast we will embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Dharapani passing through the Besisahar .It will take like 8-9 hrs to reach Dharapni so for today we will sit back and enjoy the scenery as we pass through the different beautiful village fast-flowing rivers and farms.

Day 03 Trek from Dharapani to Chame (alt.2600m),5 hrs

Today we will start our journey from Dharapani to Chame which is approximately 14 kilometers and will typically takes around 5 hours .As you leave Dharapani,the trail heads towards northwest,passing through the stunning village Bagarchhap which is known for its architecture and mesmerizing views of surrounding mountains.

As you keep on walking you will hike long side with Marsyangdi river .As for the routes it feature a river valley trails,terraced fields and lush forests.The trail passes through the pine and rhododendron forest.As we ascend we will see the mountains views of AnnapurnaII and Lamjung Himal.

Day 04 Trek from Chame to Pisang

After having a hearty breakfast we’ll start our todays journey which is 14 kilometers and will typically take 5-6 hrs to complete,depending upon your pace.

As we leave Chame we will pass through the several smaller settlement such as Talekhu and Bhratang– is known for its apple orchards.For today the trail initially follows through the Marsyangdi river as you continue your walk you will pass through lush pine forest and rhododendron.

For today trail is well-maintained and clearly marked.Upon arriving to the pisang you will witness the spectacular views of surrounding peaks including Annapurna II.

Day 05 Pisang to Manang via upper trail(alt.3500m)7-8 hrs

For today we will trek from Pisang to Manang via the upper trail which will take around 7-8 hr.As we walk by Pisang ,we will ascend to the village of Ghyaru which is situated at a higher elevation.

Ghyaru is known for its traditional architecture including stone house and narrow winding streets.The trail is well-marked and clear,making navigation easier even for the first timer.The upper trail passes by several chortens and monasteries.as we trek we may encounter a varieties of plants and animal species which are unique to the high altitude ecosystem.

The upper trail also provides spectacular view of Annapurna and Gangapurna ranges including other surrounding landscapes.

Today we will have a rest day to acclimatize at an altitude of 3,500m.We will hike to Chhonkhor viewpoint which takes around 4-5 hrs.From the viewpoint we can enjoy close-up views of peaks such as AnnapurnaII,III and IV as well as Tilicho You can also catch a sight of Tilicho Lake in the distance.

Day 07 Manang to Tilicho Base Camp(alt.4,140m)

The trek from Manang to Tilicho Base Camp at an altitude of 4,140m is a challenging yet rewarding journey which takes around 5-6 hrs to complete.The trek follows a well-defined trail which ascends through alpine meadows the path are well-marked however it can be narrow and rough in some section.

We will follow the Marsyangdi river for today’s trek.We might spot wildlife such as blue sheep and snow leopard.We’ll pass by Gangapurna Lake, a beautiful glacial lake as we make our way towards Tilicho Base Camp.Upon reaching to the Tilicho Base Camp,you can rest and prepare for the following day trek.

Day 08 Hike to Tilicho Lake (alt.4900m) and back to Siri Kharka ,7-8 hrs

Today’s hike will take us around 7-8 hrs to complete and it’s going to be a long hike so,it might be quite challenging but rewarding.The trail can be challenging in certain section with narrow path and steep ascents.

The hike offers spectacular views of the surrounding peaks including Tilicho peak,Nilgiri and Muktinath Himal.Tilicho lake is one of the highest lakes in the world and is also known for its pristine blue water.After appreciating the beauty of tilicho lake we will head back to Siri Kharka.

Day 09 Trek to Yak Kharka(alt.4050m),6 hrs

Trek starts from Siri Kharka and ascends towards Yak Kharka passing through the alpine meadows and open landscapes.The trail for today is mostly clear and easy to follow ,with occasional rocky sections and gentle section.

Day 11 Trek to Muktinath(3800m)via Thorong La pass(alt.5416m),9-10 hrs

Day 12 Trek back to Jomsom

Today’s trek typically takes around 5-7 hrs to complete,depends upon your pace and rest pace.The trek begins in Muktinath ,where you will descend through Kali Gandaki Valley towards Jomsom.
As you trek down from Muktinath the landscapes becomes more desert like.You’ll pass through several villages like Kagbeni offering the insights into the local culture and tradition.The path is mostly flat or gentle sloping.And after some more hike you’ll reach to Jomsom-a significant town ,with small airport offering flight to Pokhara and other destination

Day 13 Fly/Drive back to Pokhara,

After completing your trek in Jomsom you have the option to either fly or drive back to Pokhara if you catch the flight then it will take around 20-25 minutes.The flight offers the spectacular views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri as well as kali Gandaki valley.
If you decide to drive from Jomsom to Pokhara then it takes around 8-10 hours,depending on road condition and traffic.Driving is a long journey but provides a scenic adventure through the valley.
