Thorong Peak Climbing is one of the most popular and beautiful peaks standing between Annapurna mountain and Dhaulagiri mountain range. Thorong Peak is well recognized for its beautiful view of Dhaulagiri(8167m, 26795ft), Nilgiri(7061m, 23166ft), Annapurna Himalayan range, Tilicho Peak, also mustang valley, Muktinath. In this region, natural and cultural surroundings sing together embracing and welcoming your passion. Along the way, we will pass many stops, guest houses, villages, beautiful rice-terraced waterfalls, and different ethnic groups of people such as Gurung, Magar, and Tibetan. This region has been well known for Tibetan migration.
Early in the morning, our climbing guide will take you to the top of Throng Peak Alt 6140m. Approximately it takes about 9 to 10 hours depending on local weather situations from the base camp.
You will be physically as well as mentally alright before and after a climb. We have well-trained, experienced, and mature attendants to assist you to the summit.

Day 01 Arrive at Kathmandu,alt.1300m
Welcome to Nepal! After your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. And for the rest of the day you can freely explore Kathmandu city and take a rest after the long flight.

Day 02 Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing
Today, you’ll go on a tour of the Kathmandu valley . You’ll visit some of the famous landmark such as Swayambhunath(Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa and the historical Kathmandu Durbar Square. You can experience the harmony between the architectural heritage and religions. In the evening , there will be a final briefing and preparation for the trek.

Day 03 Drive to Bhulbhule via Besi Sahar,7-8hrs (alt.890m)
Early in the morning you’ll take a drive from Kathmandu valley, heading west towards the town Besi Sahar. The road winds through the scenic countryside, terraced fields and small villages, offering your forest views of the himalayan foothills. From Besi Sahar, you continue driving to Bhulbhule, where the trek begins. BhulBhule is a small village surrounded by lush greenery and terraced farms.

Day 04 Trek to Jagat,alt.1300m
The trek begins with a pleasant walk through the villages and forests, following the Marsyangdi River. As you ascend , the trail becomes steeper, passing through the village of Ngadi and eventually reaching Bahundanda. After a steep descent, you continue through the terraced fields and cross a suspension bridge over Marsyangdi river. The trail then ascends again to reach the village of jagat, a small settlement perched on a hillside with stunning views.

Day 05 Trek to Dharapani,(alt.1900m)
The trail today goes through the mix of rocky terrain and lush forests. You will pass through the charming villages like Chamje and Taj, where you’ll have a chance to erest and enjoy the local scenery. As you continue , the trail climbs steadily, crossing suspension bridges and offering views of high , snow-capped peaks. The day ends at Dharapani, a village situated in a forested area, making the start of the Manang District.

Day 06 Trek to Chame,alt.2670m 5-6 hrs
Today’s trek takes you through the dense forest of pine , oak and maple as the trail ascends steadily. You’ll pass through the villages like Bagarchhap and Danaque , where Tibetan style architecture becomes more dominant. The scenery becomes more dramatic with views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV. As you approach Chame, you’ll be greeted with the sight of Annapurna ranges. Chame is a lively town with shops, bakeries and a natural hot spring where you can relax.

Day 07 Trek to Lower Pisang,alt.3100m 6-7 hrs
Leaving Chame, the trail follows the Marsyangdi river and passes through a narrow, steep-sided gorge. As you ascend , the valley widens and the landscapes also change. You’ll pass through the village of Bhratang, known for its apple orchards, before continuing to Dhukur Pokhari. From here , the trail climbs gently to Lower Pisang

Day 08 Trek to Manang,alt.3500m 5-6 hrs
Today, you’ll trek along one of the most scenic sections of the Annapurna circuit. The trail offers the two routes, a higher more challenging route through Upper Pisang and Ghyaru or a lower easier route through Humde. The higher router offers the stunning views of the Annapurna and Gangapurna but requires more effort. Both routes eventually coverage in the large village of Manang, where you’ll be surrounded by towering peaks and the unique culture of the Manangis

Day 09 Rest day(hike to Chhonkor viewpoint 3800m)
Today is an important rest day to acclimatize to the increasing altitude. You can explore Manang, a town known for its unique culture, Buddhist monasteries and spectacular views. A short hike to Chhonkor viewpoint at 3,800m will help your body adjust to the altitude. The viewpoint offers magnificent views of Annapurna III, Gangapurna and Tilicho Peak.

Day 10 Trek to Yak Kharka,alt.4050m 5-6 hrs
The trail from Manang gradually ascends, passing through the alpine landscapes with yak pastures and juniper bushes. As you climb higher, the vegetation becomes sparse and the air gets thinner. You’ll cross several small streams and pass through the village of Gunsang before reaching Yak Kharka, a small settlement used as a grazing area for yaks.

Today’s trek takes you further into the high-altitude region, with increasingly barren landscapes. The trail climbs steadily to Ledar, then continues to Thorong Phedi, a base Camp for trekkers preparing to cross the Thorong La Pass.

After a challenging climb , you’ll reach Thorong Peak Base Camp.
