Founder/ Adventure Guide

Mr. Bharat KC, born in eastern Nepal’s Solukhumbu district, is known as the Everest region. He has been working in the tourism field for 20 years. He has completed various programs conducted by WWF, TAAN, KEEP, the Mountaineering Association, and the Nepal Government. He has a deep understanding of eco-friendly and sustainable tourism and rural development tourism. He has trekked the most popular trails in Nepal, including the “Great Himalayan Trail” (lower part known as the green trail) and the “Great Himalayan Trail” (upper part known as the extremely difficult trail). Many years of association with a reputed travel company and precious experience in the trekking field of Nepal, India, Tibet & Bhutan. He thought it was time to take matters into his own hands and finally established Nature Explore Trek in 2015 along with his long-term friend and colleague, Mr Dinesh Karki.

He says, “I feel immensely fortunate to have been a part of this sector. It has given me the opportunity to get an intimate experience of different landscapes, terrain, people, and culture. I absolutely love to share the natural exquisiteness of my country and elsewhere with my clients. And in the process, I will do my utmost best to ensure that our clients will not just have a successful and safe trek but will make the most of their holidays and take away lasting and enriching memories along with them.”

He has done the Upper Great Himalayan trail in 2019 with a group from the UK, and the trip began in spring and lasted until summer (a total of 5 months, approximately 1800 km in 130 days). This trek starts from east Nepal’s Kanchenjunga mountain range and ends in far west Nepal’s Simikot district. This is one of the biggest trekking routes in the Himalayan Range, and it is the hardest one as well. You have to cross over 6000m high mountain passes three times, including more than 50 over 5000m high passes, along with this trip. If anyone is interested in this big trip, contact Bharat Kc, and he would be your best person to make your trip successful.
