Trek difficulty:
The two-day Poonhill trek is considered not the difficult trek this is an easy trek trail doesn’t go to higher sections of the mountains as well. The highest point of this trek is only 3210m from sea level. Compared with the other many long, adventurous, and challenging treks in Nepal, this is the shortest and easiest trek that takes you to close to the Annapurna mountain. However, you are doing this trek with your limit time still, you have to cover the total trek distance to reach the last point of this trek at the Poonhill viewpoint and return to the Pokhara ends of the trek. You will have to walk per day 4 hours and drive 3 hours The beginning and ends of the trek include several steeps ups and downhill walks; it required still minimal physical preparation for the beginners trekkers and we highly recommend it.
Trek preparation:
For a 2-day short trek, you do not need to have a lot of preparation. But general preparation is required to start this trek, such as the logistic preparation like the Annapurna consequation permit, all trip-necessary documents, and transportation. Transportation for the 2 days Ghorepani PoonHill Trek:
Beginning of the trek to Till Ulleri, you will go by Jeep, which takes roughly 3 hours from Pokhara. And same one, the way back to Pokhara ends of the trek, you will drive back by Jeep. Hiring a private Jeep is slightly more expensive than going in a shared Jeep. Private jeeps mean you and your guide will go and sharing jeeps means there will travel the locals and stop the jeeps at several places for drop-off and pickup of the passengers and some loads. Private is more comfortable and easier and it can pick up and drop off from your hotel, but if you prefer to go by local shared jeep, you will have to come to the jeep station to catch it in Pokhara. As per your budget, we will manage both options.
