
Mr. Santosh, who was born in eastern Nepal’s hilly region in Okhaldhunga district. He started his tourism career as a porter and continued to be promoted to high-altitude adventure cook. He not only works as a cook but also works as an assistant guide and porter guide as well.
Santosh has been to almost all northern part of Nepal, like, Kanchanjunga, Makalu, Everest, Langtang, Manaslu, Annapurna, Mustang, Dolpa, and Far West Nepal, and showed his cooking skill very well. Also, he has been to those places as a porter guide. He is familiar with Nepali, American, Chinese, and Indian cuisines. Santosh also did the “Great Himalayan Trail” in 2019 with some of our other field staff and finished the total distance of approximately 1800 m in 130 days.
