Everest base camp trekking Outline itinerary

Day 01: early morning fly to (Lukla Alt 2860m) (trek to Phakging , 30 minutes flight 3 hours .

Day 02: Trek to Namche bazzar (5 to 6 hours) ,3400m.

Day 03: rest and acclimatization day (hike up to Everest view hotel (Everest view height 3800m) for strengthen view of whole Mount Everest region.

Day 04: trek to Tenbuche 4 to 5 hours (3800m)

Day 05: trek to Dingbuche   5 to 6 hours (4410m)

Day 06: Rest day (hike to nagarjung hill (3 to 4 hours) Alt. 5500m

Day 07: trek to Lobuche 4 to5 hours (4900m)

Day 08: trek to Everest base camp (Alt 5364m) via gorekshep (alt5100m) and trek back to Gorekshep for overnight stay. (9 to 10 hours)

Day 09: early morning hike to kalapather view point  (Alt. 5550m) and trek back to Pheriche 8 to 9 hours.

Day 10: trek back to Namche bazzar via tenbuche monastery 6 to 7 hours (3400m)

Day 11: trek back to Lukla 6 to 7 hours (2860m) this is your last day of walk in Everest base camp trek.

Day 12: fly back to Kathmandu, 30 minutes (1300m)

Gokyo lake Trek : 

Gokyo lakes is situated in Everest region rear by mount choyu  glacier , gokyo valley altitude 4700m It’s beautiful trekking routs in Nepal an Everest region. Gokyo valley is surrounded by beautiful lakes from one lake to six lakes, this is most fascinating trekking routs for all trekking lovers. generally it take to get gokyo lake one week from Kathmandu and 4 days return back to Kathmandu including flight back from lukla to Kathmandu , from gokyo  lake trek you can see many mountains including everest other high mounts of this region. You can also hike to gokyo Ri view point for a magnificent view of whole Himalayas’ ranges of khumbu region.  You can climb both time sun set or sun rise in the morning , its bit tough to climb up 500m up from gokyo lake but once you get on the top of gokyo ri Alt. 5360m  then you will forget all climb pain and definitely  you will enjoying with this amazing mounts views and landscape of Everest region.

How high is  Gokyo  ri (alt5360m)

Gokyo ri view point  (Alt 5360m) is one popular view point in  Everest region, its stand in between  Mount Chyou Alt 8210m and renjola pass 5360m. From top of gokyo –ri you can see many Himalayas peaks includes four above 8 thousand miter high mountains like mount Everest, Alt. 8848m, Mt. Lhotse 8516 m.  Mt. Choyu 8210 m. and Mt.  Makalu Alt.8481 m.  As well you can see world beautiful mount Mt. Ama Dablam and all gokyo lakes.

How high is Tengbuche Monastery?

Tengbuche monastery is (alt. 3800m) from sea level.  Its situated in mount Everest region near namche bazzar, it’s one of the oldest monastery in this area, many monks living here and every day after 4pm they do the big puja , in the winter here is very cold then all monks and locals from this region they go down for hide the cold and snow, then in spring they go back to again in regular duty.

Lukla airport Nepal

Lukla (2860 m.)  is situated in east part of Nepal from Kathmandu, it’s also main get of Everest base camp trekking , lukla  also very popular for  market and trade  of local people , most of the Everest  base camp trekking groups stay overnights here  before fly out to Kathmandu from Everest base camp trek . here are many nice hotels and guest house , you can also have a good bakery and coffee , in the trekking season this place is very busy and crowed from trekking groups , local guides and porters . this is always nice place to spend good time here   before comeback to Kathmandu for trekkers and local peoples.
