Christmas and New Year trekking in Nepal  best time On this amazing festival of Christmas, if you looking for a good holiday in Nepal then   want to do a short trekking around the Himalayas here we suggest some trekking routes for your importation holidays in Nepal

(1)      11 days Everest base camp trek B.C (alt. 5364m)

Everest base camp trekking is very popular and strengthens mountain view trekking destinations for all travels and adventure lovers. The Everest base camp trek starts from Kathmandu to fly Lukla, and then generally starts the walk from here, generally, it takes to get to base camp 7 to 8 days and three to four days to come back to Kathmandu, in total 11 days in a short itinerary. Same this trek some people take 14 days, 13 days, but if you have only a short time here then you can do this trek within 11 days too.

The routs lead you to fly to Lukla (2860m) from Kathmandu- then continue trek to Phagding (2630m), this is your first day trekking and flowing days you will be flowing this village-like Namche Bazzar  (3440m) Tenbuche monastery (3800 m.), Dingboche villages (4410m), Lobuche  (4900m), then finally you will get to Base camp (alt. 5364m)  same day back to Gorekshep (5100m) for overnight & following days you shall come back to Kathmandu same way down through the amazing Sherpa villages and monastery.

Day 01: Early morning fly to Lukla from Kathmandu domestic airport  & trek to Phagding, 3 /4 hours (2600m)

Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazzar, 5 to 6 hours (3440m)

Day 03: rest day in Namche Bazar (acclimatization day)

Day 04: Trek to Tengboche Monastery 4 to 5 hours, (3880M)

Day 05: Trek to Dingboche  4 to 5 hours, ( 4410m)

Day 06: Trek to Lobuche 4 to5 hours, (4900m)

Day 07: Trek to Everest base camp (5364m) & back to Gorekshep for Overnight sleep,  8 to 9 hours total time.

Day 08: Early morning hike to Kala Patthar viewpoint Alt, 5550m and trek back to Gorekshep – Pheriche Alt 4020m.

Day 09: Trek back to Namche bazaar   6 to 7 hours (3440m)

Day 10: Trek back to Lukla 6 to 7 hours (2780m)

Day 11: Fly back to Kathmandu   Lukla – Kathmandu flight duration of 30 minutes (1300m).

Food:

On this trek you can eat any kind of food in the guest house like continental, Indian, Italian American, Nepali many more, all guest houses and Hotel has a very professional kitchen staff so you can choose from the menu card, you can also get all kind of hot drinks tea, coffee many more ….!

Night stay

During the short Everest base camp trek,  you can stay in the tea house and sleep in comfortable twin sharing basis rooms, most of the tea house has a very warm dining hall with insulated windows, and in the early days of this trek you will get a more comfortable room, but when you grew up every day in a different place then the guest house will less facility and not comfortable like at the beginning of this trek, every place you can get one extra blanket on top of your sleeping bag.

(2)  Short Annapurna sunrise trek

Annapurna sunrise trek itinerary.

 Drive to Pokhara 6 to 7 hours (Alt 720m)

Drive to Nayapool and trek to Ulleri 4 to5 hours (alt.1900m)

Trek to Ghorepani 3 to 4 hours (Alt 2800m)

Early morning hike to poon hill viewpoint (3210m) and trek to Tadapani 6 to 7 hours (2600m)

Trek to Jhinu dada 4 to5 hours ( 1700m)

Trek back to Pokhara 3 to 4 hours.

Your trek ends in Pokhara.

(3) Short Langtang valley trek (6 nights 7 days)

 Langtang valley trekking is located northeast from Kathmandu,  Langtang short trekking is very short and easy trekking routes for beginners hikers and trekkers. On this trek, you can see Langtang Himalaya’s ranges and Buddhist cultures, regions, and people’s basic daily lifestyle including different landscapes. This trek began from Kathmandu and end also in Kathmandu. Langtang valley short trek lead you drive to Sybrubesi which is the biggest town of the region then basically you shall start to walk from here, next day you will trek to Lama Hotel  – Langtang gaun – kyanjing  gumpa – kyanjing ri , along the way you will be crossing several Tamang, Sherpa habitations and fertile fields and domestic animal. You can also see on the trek so many different flora fauna, many spices birds and wild animals.

Once you get on top the Langtang valley region last stop at Kyanging gumpa , from here you will have a magnificent view of Langtang mountains including  Gangchempu , Ganjala pass , and Nayakhang peak many more other Himalayas peaks.

This route was effected from 2015 divesting earth quick, but now all the settlements are ready and you can easily trek here. You can stay in a nice tea house with good food.

Short Langtang valley trek itinerary:

  • Drive to Sybrubesi from Kathmandu  6 to7 hours  1400m)
  • Trek to Lama Hotel 4 to5 hours Alt.2400m.
  • Trek to Langtang Gaun 4 to5 hours Alt. 3400m.
  • Trek to Kyanjing Gumpa 3 hours & explore the Kaynging- Ri viewpoint (4700m) Alt. 3700m.
  • Trek back to Lama hotel 6 to 7 hours Alt 2400m
  • Trek back to Shrubesi  5 hours  1400m
  • Drive back to Kathmandu 6 to 7 hours.
