Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi – 147 km , 5 to 6 hours. (alt. 1400 m.)

After a warm breakfast at the Hotel we will drive to Syabrubesi from Kathmandu today. Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi is very interesting and enjoyable through the scenic mountain views, Hills, old villages ,and snowscapes. One way you can stop for lunch break , toilet break.once you reach in Syabrubesi after refreshing you can walk around the town for warmup as seating many hours in car /jeeps or bus.

Day 2: Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel, 4 to 5 hours. (alt. 2400 m.)

After breakfast, you will trek to Lama hotel in 4 to 5 hours today. Traversing through the several old Sherap , Tamang villages gradually ascend to Pahiro, where you can take short commercials and continue trekking to Bamboo for lunch another one more hour. After lunch, I continued trekking to Lama hotel, gradually ascending through the lush forests and langtang Khola.

Day 3: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang gaun , 4- 5 hours , (alt.3410 m )

After a warm breakfast, you will gradually ascend to Langtang gaun through the langtang national park, where you have the golden opportunity to see wildlife, flora, fauna and different species of birds. At Ghodatabela we will stop for lunch. After 2 hours of trekking from Ghodatabela you will reach the famous Langtang gaun for overnight stay. Langtang village is one of the oldest villages located at an elevation of 3400m above sea level inhabited by Tibetains and Tamang ethnic groups, where you can visit the cultural old monasteries. As tourism is the main source of back support for economics, they love to give the best hospitality and share their interesting culture and religions with tourists who want more.

Day 4: Trek from Langtang guan to Kyanjing Gumpa – 3 hours, (at 3700 m.)

Today is your short day trek as you will only trek 3-4 hours to Kyanjin gompa. The trail gradually ascends and before you reach Kyanjin you will cross a few wooden suspension bridges and be mesmerized by beautiful views of Gang Cheppu Himal, Langtang Lirung Himal and Nyakhang peak including many beautiful peaks around. Afternoon you have free time so you can visit the old cultural monastery, Yak cheese factories as it is one of the rare and famous in Kyanjin gompa and enjoy the great views of mountains from close distance.

Day 5: Exploration Day:

Today we hike to Kyangingri viewpoint at 4,700 m above ,3 to 4 hours for a magnificent view of Langtang region’s mountains and beautiful landscapes, Hills and snowscapes from close distance. After exploring the great views and reaching an elevation above 4500m from sea level with great memories of scenery you will go back to the teahouse for lunch and take a rest after a long up and down hike.

Day 6: Trek back to Lama Hotel, 6 to 7 hours, (alt. 2400 m )

After breakfast, you will descend to Lama Hotel as you are already familiar with the trail and you don’t feel hard like you were trekking up before. You will cross several villages ,and enjoy watching the mountain views crossing forests, domestic animals, Yaks and many more.

Day 7: Trek back to Syabrubesi , 4 – 5 hours (alt.1400 m)

After breakfast you will trek to Syabrubesi, you will descend mostly through the forest as well cross a few local towns before it ends.

Day 8: Drive back to Kathmandu – 147 km , 4 – 5 hours. (alt. 1300 m.)
