trekking in Nepal March and April are the second-biggest trekking, climbing & big expeditions seasons in Nepal, in this months the temperature will slowly rise then the cold will move higher in the Himalayas then mostly sunshine days will come up,  After heavy showing in winter every year (December – Jan – Feb) weather will be clear and you can see the good view of mountains, it will be blooming the many types of flower, after temperature rising the forest and trees are getting greens and many new trees will be grown up with a new season of the year.  In the Himalayas area wildlife will be starting to get new food and they go higher than they live in Mount. region.

Autumn and spring seasons both have the same weather conditions, so in this season all the travels, all tourists will never regard mountain views,  March – April, and May is a perfect time for trekking after the October and November seasons.  In this season all the trees will get painted after blooming, and our national tree rhododendron and many other flowers will bloom in spring before the monsoon starts;   it makes another amazing view around the mountains.

So we recommend that the spring season will be the best trekking season in Nepal with a clear sky and a great view of mountains wherever you go into the Himalayas.

(1) Everest base camp trek:

Everest base camp trek is one of the most popular trekking destinations in the Himalaya in Nepal. The normal duration is 12 nights 13 days including flight both ways Kathmandu – Lukla – Kathmandu. Lukla is the main entrance get of the Everest base camp trek after 15 minutes fly to Lukla basically you will start to walk, 7 nights 8 days going up to Everest base camp and 3 nights 4 days return to Kathmandu including the Lukla Kathmandu flight. (4) Ghorepani – Ponhill Trek, (4 nights 5 days)

If you have a short time in Nepal, but still want to do the short trek and want to see mountains from a close distance then this is a perfect trekking route for all adventure walk beginners.  If you never have done any treks in life and want to start your trekking in Himalaya then we recommend this trek.

This short trek gives you back amazing mountains view of whole Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range including different types of cultures and religions, you will enjoy with hot spring at jinu dada, it’s one of the best trekking routes for those who have a short time in Nepal. This trek starts from Kathmandu and ends in Pokhara or Kathmandu.  Max Alt 3200m. in poonhill viewpoint.

(5) Mardi Himal trek

Mardi Himal trek is a very famous trekking route now for all beginners walkers in the Himalaya, its located beneath of mount fishtail  (these mountains also call from another name call Machhapuchre) Machhapuchare also commonly known as Fishtail Mountain, because of its twin peaks that mirrors the image of a fishtail is a very beautiful and sacred mountain of Nepal. The ridge here leads to a High camp, located at 3,620m (13,550 Ft.), where a second consecutive afternoon is spent acclimatizing with the views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchare. All around you right from Dhaulagiri to the Ganesh Himal stretches a dozen or more spectacular mountains, with Annapurna I being the highest of them all.

We highly recommend this trekking route for trek and yoga at the same time.  On this trek, you will find it is less crowded compared to other trekking routes.   It will be peaceful and quiet most of the day with beautiful Mountain View, including flora fauna’s where you can find for yoga trek of Nepal. (6) Langtang valley & Gosaikund Lake trek

Langtang Valley and Gosaikunda lake regions are located north of Kathmandu. This region is known for its natural beauty and wide and varied trekking opportunities.

We start from Kathmandu, where we transfer by bus or private jeep the 105km to Dhunche- Sybrubesi.  It is here at Dhunche that we start the trek. The trail leads us gently and slowly up through the many different villages inhabited by Tibetans, Tamangs, and Sherpa people.

Passing through the lush Rhododendrons forest, filled with conifers and oaks you will have plenty of opportunities to immerse yourself in the natural surroundings and wildlife. We will pass and meet many cattle along the way. Monkeys’ and a wide variety of birds are always within sight.

The route provides us with stunning mountain views of Lantang Lerung, Yala  peak,  GanchhepuHimal range, Nyakhang  peak, to name but a few. This trek allows you to witness the changing landscape as we ascend above 3000m – when the landscape loses its vibrant green forest in favor of higher altitude backdrops.

The true cultural feel is achieved when we reach Lantang village. Awash with fluttering prayer flags, brightly painted chortens, many walls, and stones carved with the Tibetan mantra ‘Om Mani Padme Hum’. You will be sure to receive a gracious welcome from the yak herders.

From Langtang valley, we take the trail up to the sacred site called Goisaikunda Lake. Gosainkunda Lake is believed to have been created by Lord Shiva when he thrust his Trishul (trident) into the mountain to extract water so that he could cool his burning throat after swallowing poison. At the lake, you will also have spectacular views of the Ganesh Himal range and Manaslu range. After crossing the Laurebinae pass (4600m), we trek back via another route in this region. This route takes us back to Kathmandu via Kutumsang, Chisapani, and finally Kathmandu. or if you don’t have enough time then you can make the short trek and return back to Dhunche from Gosaikunda lake and drive back to Kathmandu.

(7) Manaslu circuit trek

Manaslu trekking is located in the west part of Nepal at Ghorkkha district, the border with Annapurna circuit trek or in Annapurna mountains regions. Everyone knows Mount Manaslu is above 8000m Higher  (Alt .8167m from sea level. So this trekking is a very famous trekking route nowadays, most of the adventure and trekking lovers like to visit once in their lifetime. Walking around the world eight thousand meters high MT Manaslu, Mt. Ganesh Himal, and Alt.7425m) Himal Chuli (Alt.7893m.) including numbers of mountains which belong to the Himalaya range.

Compare to the Everest region and Annapurna region, the Manaslu circuit trek route is still quiet and fewer numbers of people use to go here, but nowadays the number of trekkers increasing year by year. Manaslu circuit trek also introduces you with the local culture and religions of this region from the beginning of the trek from low altitude Alt 700m up to Larke –la pass 5130m.

Manaslu circuit trek route begins from Kathmandu to Soti Khola by drive then basically you will start the walk from here, you shall be a trek through Machha Khola – khorla besi- Jagat where your restricted Manaslu permit will be issued and continue Philip- Dying – NAMRUNG – Low gaun – Sama gaun- samdu- Dharamsala (known as a base camp of Manaslu circuit trek then finally you will be reached on the top of Larke la pass (Alt.5130m) and then come back down to Bhim Phedi, which is another side of mt. Manaslu mountain ranges, then last day of the walk to Dharapani & it’s the meeting point with the Annapurna circuit trek route and you will drive back to Kathmandu via Beshishar- Kathmandu. along the way, you will cross many Gurung- Magar- Tibetan settlements and their basic daily lifestyle, including nature scenery and monastery temple and chorten many more. Highlights of this trek are, visit and walk around old Buddhist and Hindu culture and their religions and mountains view of the whole Manaslu and Annapurna region including 100 or above 6000m high mountains view.

(8) Annapurna circuit trek:

Annapurna circuit trekking is a very famous and old trekking route in the Annapurna mountains region. This route is located southwest from Pokhara, surrounded from Annapurna Mountains, this the route was known as a very long route for all adventure trekking lovers, But now its became a short route, because of the car route is reach close to the mountains and most of the lower part of trek days were cut so if you use the local transportation before start walk then you can do this trek in between 10 to 11 days. it depends how long you want to drive and go mounts directly, we suggest you all trekkers you can drive until Dharapani or Bargarchap then here you can start your walk,  if you go further drive then it can be a problem in altitude sickness, so  Dharapani  (Alt. 1900m)  good start place for a walk.

On this trek, you can see all Annapurna range mountains like Annapurna!! (7995m) Annapurna!!!  (Alt.7555m), Annapurna!X (Alt.7435m) Ganga purna (Alt. 7455m), Tilicho peak (Alt.7135m) including 100 of Himalaya peaks above 6000m You will trek through the several local villages; beautiful landscape, culture, nature and you will see local people basic daily lifestyle & many more!

Above pricing villages, you will meet several old Tibetan villages and cultural including 600 to 700 years old buddies monastery and chhorten, you shall enjoy visiting this incredible old settlement and lifestyle. (9)  Tamang Heritage Trail

Tamang heritage trail trek is located in the north of Kathmandu; this is a newly opened trekking route in the Lang tang region. This trail was developed by the Tourism for Rural Poverty Alleviation Program under the United Nations Development Project (UNDP). Apromaxly 10 -20 thousand people are used to live in this area.  Tamang heritage trail is very reached from culture& regions. This trek begins from Kathmandu to Sybrubesi after a drive-by bus. And then basically start to walk from Sybrubesi.

The trail passes traditional Tamang villages (Goljung, Gatlang, Tatopani, Nagthal,  Thuman Briddim) where life, culture, Hot bath in the healing hot-water spring at Tatopani, and crafts have remained not so much changed the beginning of the established .their mean income source is small animal trade, farming,  made handy craft by them and seals to the nearest market, Tamang people are very happy to serve anytime their warm traditional hospitality. These treks share you at the same time very good cultural experience and their daily lifestyle. This trekking also offers beautiful mountain views of Langtang lirung (Alt 7220m) and  Ganesh Himal range also wilderness walking experience through beautiful landscapes of alpine terrain and rhododendrons forests. Gokyo lake is naturally & culturally both very beautiful trek,  on this trek, you will see   six  beautiful lakes including  hundreds of Himalaya peaks which are above the 6000m higher,
